A platform connecting car owners with trusted automotive service providers

PuraCars connects car owners with automotive service providers they can actually trust. Two things were broken: owners had no way to compare a fair price, and good independent shops had no way to be found. One marketplace, two problems.

## How it went

1.  1 Make price legible 
    
    Owners don't fear repair costs, they fear surprise. Structured job types and written quotes turn a nervous phone call into a comparison you can read.
    
2.  2 Give shops a cockpit 
    
    A provider portal with the day's jobs, capacity and status in one view. If the shop side is a chore, the marketplace dies quietly.
    
3.  3 Earn the review 
    
    Reputation only means something when it's tied to a completed, paid job. Everything else is noise dressed as stars.

## Small things worth knowing

-   The hardest screen wasn't booking — it was the shop's Monday morning.
-   Job types were rewritten three times until an owner could pick one without Googling.
-   Every quote lives as a document, so nothing depends on remembering a conversation.
